Kupenga workshop
Come along and make a Kupenga (net) wall hanger using harakeke harvested here at the Botanic Gardens.
This Matariki workshop is in conjunction with the Ngāti Tamaoho Matariki Weaving exhibition on display in the Huakaiwaka visitor centre gallery.
The workshop will promote and demonstrate kaitiakitanga and correct protocols around the harvesting and care from the Pa Harakeke Garden.
