Little Bats, Big Stories: A Matariki Activity
Did you know Aotearoa has its very own native bat? The pekapeka-tou-roa (long-tailed bat) is one of our rarest taonga, and Matariki is a perfect time to celebrate and protect it.
In this session we'll explore what makes pekapeka so special, learn how we can help keep them safe, and get crafty with origami bats and Matariki-inspired creations.
All ages welcome. No need to book – just come and start creating.
