Microgreens for Kids
Join Lisa at Auckland Botanic Gardens, Logan Campbell room for a fun, hands-on Love Food Hate Waste workshop where kids discover how easy it is to grow their own food.
In this interactive session, kids will plant their own microgreens using recycled materials and take home a simple growing kit they can look after themselves. Because microgreens grow quickly, children can harvest and eat what they’ve grown, making this a rewarding and confidence-boosting activity that extends well beyond the workshop.
Spaces are limited, booking is essential.
This workshop is suitable for children aged 6–12 years. Each child attending must have their own ticket and be accompanied by an adult. Accurate registration helps us prepare materials and manage activities safely.
