Mushrooms and Other Fungi
An Exhibition of Fungi Drawings by the renowned mycologist Marie Taylor (1930-1990). In colloboration with Manaaki Whenua Landcare Research.
Marie Taylor's illustrations helped to promote an appreciation of fungi for many New Zealanders after they appeared in her popular book Mushrooms and Toadstools in the 1980s.
She was described at least 21 new species and was an important scientist in her field.
