Check out our display of native plants that are good for attracting Aotearoa's community of pollinators into your garden, as well as recommended roosting trees for long-tailed bats.
There is also an associated colouring-in competition with entries in two age groups.
Colour in a butterfly for ages 5-10 years old
Colour in a tui for ages 10-14 years old
A family pass to Butterfly Creek will be awarded to the winner in each age group.
Drop your entries into the visitor centre service desk before 4pm Wednesday 9 April. Winners will be announced on Friday 11 April with the winning entries going on display over the Easter school holidays.
