Sculpture Audio Tour
We have a fantastic, free tour happening this summer for art lovers who are vision-impaired.
Nicola Owen of Audio Described Aotearoa Ltd will lead you around the exhibition giving detailed descriptions of all the Sculpture in the Gardens artworks. Her descriptions, combined with being able to touch the artworks, enable a rich experience for those with vision challenges.
Optional extra! Come together as a group for lunch afterwards at cafe Miko in the Visitor Centre (own cost) to discuss the art and vote for your favourite piece for the Burrill People's Choice award. A large table will be available.
Need to know:
• Bookings essential – please contact Nicola on 021 0358 513 or via email at audiodescribedaotearoa@gmail.com
• Let her know how many headsets you need and whether you are coming with your own guide or need her to arrange a volunteer.
• You'll need to be at the Visitor Centre at 10.15am – bring a hat, sunscreen and water bottle.
