This exhibition features works of art – some recent, some past by various artists.
We often associate ‘shelf life’ to be how long something is good for. Art is often judged using time to measure the popularity of a piece – new is good, old is past its ‘shelf life’.
These pieces have been chosen for their content, often we display our beloved plants, flowers and treasures on shelves.
A plant’s ‘shelf life’ is as long as it survives (whether cared for or neglected ) this exhibition celebrates the resilience of both art and plants.
