Auckland Botanic gardens

For anyone interested in beekeeping (apiculture) a new part time course is being offered using the Auckland Botanic Garden classrooms with field work in neighbouring Totara Park.

Run by Land Based Training the 'fees free' course will be taught in 20 workshops over 40 weeks.

The course will teach use of equipment, bee ecology, disease management, roles of plants, beehive maintenance and more.
